IYP Toronto Summer Camp combines academic English courses with rich cultural exploration, with students residing in University of Toronto student residence halls, experiencing authentic university campus life. The curriculum covers grammar and oral communication, grouped into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, ensuring every participant progresses rapidly in an environment suited to their level.
Choose 2, 3, or 4 weeks; some FIFA sessions also offer a "non-residential" option, suitable for students with family care arrangements in Toronto.
Applications open September 15, 2025; deadline May 15, 2026 or until full. International students who require a Canadian visa are advised to allow ample time for visa processing.
IYP combines language courses with project-based learning, enabling students to practise discussion, collaboration, exploration, and self-expression in English in the global city of Toronto.
The curriculum covers two core areas — grammar and communication — providing appropriate challenge and support for steady progress.
Build foundational vocabulary, grammar, and everyday communication skills, improving confidence and expression across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Expand vocabulary, refine sentence structure, and practise conveying ideas more clearly in both spoken and written expression.
Develop fluency, accuracy, and comprehension in academic and real-world contexts, tackling increasingly complex language tasks.
The residential plan covers tuition, accommodation, meals, activities, transportation, and airport transfers.
